Eliza Schmidt and violin

Eliza Schmidt has been playing the violin since the age of six. At the age of nine, she had her first successful appearance on the stage. In hungary, Eliza graduated with honors from the Academy of Music.

After graduation, she participated in master classes with Vera Vaidman, Lorand Fenyves, Edward Zienkowski and Lynn Blakeslee and she was inspired by Zakar Bron. She played big violin concertos by Dvorák and Brahms an "caprice" by Paganini caprice with great succes.

In vienna, Eliza Schmidt studied from 1998 with Florian Zwiauer, the concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and founder of the Franz Schubert quartet. Other teachers of her's were Martin Tuksa, concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra of Sao Paulo and Werner Hink, concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic, with whom she gave her final exams.

The old vienna school of Franz and Karl Samohyl barylli shaped and deepened her remarkable musical sound style. This also led to her own first album "The Four Seasons" by Vivaldi. (Available at extra plate Vienna: www.extraplatte.com. eliza schmidt had countless performances with various ensembles and built up an almost limitless repertoire including viennese classical and salon music and also jazz and pop. In recent years, she also did cd and tv recordings with the star orchestra of the ORF as well as live performances with the Ensemble Rondo Vienna.

She also played at the new year's concert 2008 at the Vienna City Hall. Eliza played on 31.12.2011 Vienna in front of Stephansdom under the name so you songt in Vienna with great success and people in the square 01.01.2012 thater string quartet in Vivaldi's mandolin concerto with Franz Fellner.
